Every year, the Jim Pattison Group showcases men and women in the company who inspire fellow employees through their personal philosophy and practice.
“From food to volunteers to sponsorships, I can’t think of anything in the community we haven’t supported.” Sean Daly
This year, Squamishers will recognise one of their own on that list.
Sean Daly, the manager of Nesters Market Squamish, has been awarded the Jim Pattison Personal Achievers award for 2014.
Daly was chosen as a personal achiever from 10 Nesters and 18 Buy-Low food stores across the province.
Sean has achieved exceptional sales growth in the store with hard work, dedication and a talent for fostering team effort, said a statement from the Jim Pattison group.
“Sean’s commitment to community support has seen the store voted the best Grocery Store in Squamish in consecutive years and truly known as the place “Where the locals shop,” the statement said.
Daly said the award affirms his passion for Squamish, his store and the employees who work there.
There are 100 employees who work at Nesters and everyone strives for excellence in customer satisfaction, he said.
“I’m thankful to my employees for their team work and for making me look good,” Daly said, smiling.
Besides excellent customer service, Sean Daly said Nesters is also known for supporting community events in town.

Congratulations Sean and your team. You were one of the first people I got to know when I moved to Squamish through your dedication to the community and not even because of your position; rather your personality. Very well deserved!
