Councillor Jason Blackman-Wulff has announced he won’t be seeking re-election for councillor in the District of Squamish.
He was elected to council in 2014.
“It has been an honour to serve my community over the past four years. We are so fortunate to be part of a fast-growing community with active citizens who are passionate about the future of our town.”
“The tremendous growth we have experienced has brought with it many opportunities and challenges. I am proud to have led the Housing Task Force and successfully advocated for significant, progressive changes that have generated funding that will see the District take a more active role in developing and facilitating affordable rental housing for local residents.”
“The conclusion of the Squamish Oceanfront development agreement, planned expansion of recreation facilities at Brennan Park, as well as major improvements in transit represent major achievements that will set our community up for success as we continue to grow.”
“I thank the people of Squamish for placing their trust and faith in me to serve our community over the past four years.”
