11-year-old dies in skiing accident at Mt. Seymour

An 11-year-old child has died in a skiing accident at Mt. Seymour.

On Saturday, April 10, around 8 p.m., North Vancouver RCMP received a call about an 11-year-old child who had been seriously injured in a skiing accident at Mt. Seymour.

Paramedics transported the child to BC Children’s Hospital where the child was pronounced dead.

BC Coroners Service has assumed conduct of the investigation.

“Our thoughts and hearts remain with the family through this tragedy,” North Van RCMP said.
