Don Patrick says
Fires are not allowed but they still seem to pop up because of negligence of the starter … the rule should be three strikes and you are out …. lets not pussy foot around, get the message out to the idiots … this could become a bad fire year and if we can “define” the “idiots” early maybe will save the DOS some fire fighting costs … we do not need specific fire fighting techniques, we need water on the scene quickly. This is very important to all the land owners in Squamish, the folks that pay the bills. Lets not become a benevolent group and allow these “rights people” one foot of respectable slack. Hit them high and hit them hard …. and they may get the message … “‘you are not welcome to do your own thing without showing respect for others.”
