Squamish RCMP are investigating a vehicle theft from Valleycliffe.
On June 25, at about 3:15 am, Squamish RCMP responded to a report of a stolen grey Ford Raptor pick up that was parked in the 2000 block of Maple Drive.
Investigators did extensive patrols, but were not able to locate the stolen vehicle.
On June 23, 2021, at about 8:40 p.m., Squamish RCMP investigated an attempt auto theft when a local resident saw a man trying to steal a 1994 Ford F350 parked in the 3800 block of Progress Way.
The resident spooked the man who rode away on a mountain bike.
Investigators have seized evidence left at the scene and will have it examined by the Forensic Identification Section.
