Neighbourhood Craft will return to Downtown Squamish for its seasonal market with 20+ artists, designers and creative people from Squamish and beyond. The single-day outdoor market will be held on Saturday, October 12, at 38174 Cleveland Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Neighbourhood Craft is a way to access free arts and culture and support local artists in the heart of Downtown Squamish,” says Founding Director Rachel Boguski. “People come to hang out, listen to music, see the range of vendor goods, connect – it really is a feel-good place to be. We look forward to welcoming back local artists and introducing new faces to the community.”
Visitors to Neighbourhood Craft will find art, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, vintage, apparel, home goods and more from over 20 vendors, including BIPOC, and emerging artists. A list of vendors is available at neighbourhoodcraft.ca.
Hosted by the Squamish non-profit Neighbourhood Society, Neighbourhood Craft transforms public spaces through inclusive events that support local artists. October 12 marks the seventh Neighbourhood Craft since the Society was established in 2022.
Neighbourhood Craft will take place on October 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. For full event details, visit neighbourhoodcraft.ca and follow the event on Instagram at @neighbourhoodcraft.
