The District of Squamish Council is inviting residents to share their input on the proposed budget and the 2025-2029 Five-Year Financial Plan through a series of in-person events, including a “Council Coffee Crawl” and a Budget Open House.
Residents will have the opportunity to discuss the five-year plan with Council members on the following dates:
- Council Coffee Crawl
- Monday, October 28, 5–7 p.m. at Locavore, 1861 Mamquam Road
- Wednesday, October 30, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. at Caffé Garibaldi, 38551 Loggers Lane
- Thursday, October 31, 8–10 a.m. at Brackendale Bean, 41340 Government Road
- Wellness Fair
- Saturday, November 2, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at The 55 Activity Centre, 1201 Village Green Way. Councillors will be present.
- Budget Open House
- New Date! Thursday, November 7, 6–8 p.m. at Brennan Park, 1009 Centennial Way
The Council encourages residents to attend and participate in conversations about the community’s priorities for the upcoming budget.
