A magnitude 4.8 earthquake shook parts of British Columbia and the United States at 1:26 p.m., with its epicentre 27 km from Sechelt. It was also felt in Squamish.
The tremor was felt across the region, including parts of Vancouver, Victoria, and even northern Washington State. While no immediate reports of damage or injuries exist, residents reported shaking.
There are no reports of damage so far, and no alerts or warnings have been issued.
